The Water Rats
Kings Cross
Spunkflakes would like to invite you to An Evening of Mess and Mayhem both old and new. A special event hosted by drag princess Futa Bonita (aka CHOLO) with special guest appearances by Toseki An plus AS IF (aka Trixie Bellair & Lady Miss Emm) performing their after hours anthem Chip Pan Fire, with DJ Joe Egg of XXL spinning the tunes in the DJ booth. And of course followed by the first 21st Century performance from Spunkflakes. We’ll be doing a few turns from our clubland cabaret past –plus– performing a few of our new B-Movie Rock-N-Roll songs: 46 and No Bra, Rent Boy Curry, Murder is Easy — you get the drift!
Tickets are free but limited and required so if you didn’t get an invite then Private Message us on Facebook with your email address and we’ll send you an invite!
Here’s a few tasters of the Spunkflakes lineup.
46 and No Bra
And not to forget the magnificent offering from AS IF!
Chip Pan Fire
Phew!
Well we made it through a very nervy blood and band git! Thanks to Futa Bonita for channelling Macy Gray’s Everybody! And to Toseki An for entertaining us with Stomachache, American Blanket and Uncle’s Shirt. Followed by AS IF‘s wonderful renditions of Chip Pan Fire and God Save the Queens.
An outing for our cabaret set menu: the Flake, the Fat Bastard, dearest Mommie and of course pretty little Carrie White followed by a six-pack band set if 46 and No Bra, King Kink, Rent Boy Curry, Bieber Luv, Murder is Easy and Thundercrack.
A bit thanks to all the very many mates who helped us out on the day and made it a night to remember!

Here’s a couple of tasters from the night including one shot by the lovely budding filmmaker Carina Gonzalez-Brown and our old clubland performance mate Marc Massive.
