For one night only in a tee tiny little space, Spunkflakes will be reprising—for the very last time—their Single or Return cabaret as part of David Harrison presents Killer Klowns salon night.

25 YEARS OF CUBITT

We’ve reprised this cabaret show to celebrate 25 years of Cubitt—the space where Spunkflakes were gestated—as it was first performed to an over-packed house at one of Peter Doig’s now infamous club nights in the moist confines of Cubitt’s deliciously grubby Kings Cross basement. The night will feature an assortment of Killer Klowns with a montage of shorts and out-takes—including our own bits of madness.

THERE WILL BE BLOOD!

This will be followed by performances in a specially constructed blood spatter-proof cage from 8pm by Philip Ewe plus Spunkflakes’ sacrificial offering. Capping off the night from 9pm will be the wonderful trashy, campy horror feature film Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

EGGSHIBITION

During the evening there will be a unique chance to enter into a raffle to win a specially commissioned clown’s egg—in the spirit of the Clown’s Egg Register of Church of the Clowns, Dalston—by a wide range of artists below. Raffle tickets will be £25 donation each with proceeds to help fund Cubitt’s wild garden. Raffle tickets will be available on the night on a first come first served basis, cash only. All raffle tickets will receive an egg.

Please note that the eggs will be on show for a week after the night at Cubitt Studio 5 so if you can’t make it on the night pop along in the week to catch this extraordinary Eggshibition. Eggs will then will be available for collection at Cubitt Studios by producing your raffle ticket by Saturday 2nd July.
